Condor RotexTable®

Endoprosthetics - Arthroscopy - Traumatology

An ideal support in the operating theatre is the Condor RotexTable  - the first electrically operated positioning aid for hip endoprosthetic, hip arthroscopic and traumatological operations. Because we know that some operations, such as hip arthroplasty, require the operating theatre staff and patients to assume unusual positions in order to present the operating field to the surgeon in the best possible way.

With the Condor RotexTable  we have developed a system which, for the first time in the orthopaedic operating world, allows the surgeon to adjust the leg position independently.

System components

The RotexTable® is the solution for surgeons. It is the first electrically operated positioning aid for hip operations such as hip arthroscopy or hip arthroplasty. Especially in the case of cartilage injuries or a tear of the labrum, an operation, e.g. a hip arthroscopy, makes sense. The problem is that although the procedure is minimally invasive, it is no less complicated. It's all about precision: the hip must be in an ideal position during a hip arthroscopy, for example, and remain safely in this position. This is possible with the Condor RotexTable®. Due to the quick set-up of the system for hip arthroscopy and the easy fixation of the instruments, you not only save time, but also personnel. For an even better view of the patient's hip during the operation, the RotexTable® can be rotated in five steps.

The Condor RotexTable® can be folded up to save space and for safe transport. All accessories are stored in one place and ready to hand at any time.

ADVANTAGES

  • Provides the best options for hip arthoscopies, and hip endoprosthetic or trauma procedures.
  • Electric height adjustment by hand or foot switch for the very best site adjustment
  • Integrated safety shutdown prevents lowering under extension
  • The essential positioning of the leg or hip during hip arthroscopy, for example, is possible
  • Adjustment and easy handling: setup is complete in less than 2 minutes
  • Use of various surgical instruments: Intraoperative X-ray monitoring with no visual obstructions
  • Can be used with all popular operating tables
  • Small storage space requirement of only 90 qcm

A hip arthroscopy is a technically difficult operation. During the operation, the surgeon must have an overview of the joint structures in order to be able to make a diagnosis on the one hand and to work precisely on the other. A complex repositioning and adjustment of the patient's position during the hip arthroscopy is essential. Due to the fact that we are always in contact with surgeons, we were able to develop a solution for the challenges during a hip arthroscopy, the Condor RotexTable®. With this invention, the surgeon can, for the first time, adjust all essential leg positions during hip arthroscopy, and also gets feedback on tissue tensions. The risk of fracture afterwards is minimised and intraoperative luxation tests are possible for the surgeon.
