Retractor Covers

Sterile disposables
The Retractor Covers are sterile disposable retractor covers. They are made of one hundred percent polyvinyl alcohol, a material proven in wound covering, which is of course lint-free. The covers are available in many shapes and sizes and can also be individually cut to size. They can be attached to Langenbeck retractors, liver retractors and retractor systems. The retractor covers are easy to handle and can be used quickly and without complications.

Cost reduction
The advantages of the retractor covers are as efficient as they are convincing: The time-consuming covering in the CSSD (Central Sterile Supply Department) is no longer necessary. Thus, only the retractors that are actually needed are obtained sterilely at the operating table. The number of unnecessary retractors, which otherwise occur during many operations, is thus reduced enormously. For the hospital, this means an immense reduction in effort and thus also a significant reduction in costs, and for the operating theatre staff a clear time saving.

Retractor Pads
for abdominal and pelvic surgeons

Due to its material composition of 20mm thick polyvinyl alcohol, you have an ideal cushion to keep the intestine safely away from the OR site. The strain on the retroperitoneal vessels is also reduced. This is because the 20mm thick sponge significantly minimises the pressure on the intestine and vessels. Direct pressure on the diaphragm is thus avoided. The pad also protects the tissue from injury, is flexible and adapts flexibly to the abdominal contours. The absorbency of the pre-moistened pad is another advantage from which you benefit during the operation. It can absorb wound water to prevent fluid from seeping into the wound.

Flexible to cut and lint-free
The pad is available in sizes S and L, but can be individually cut to the size that fits the situation during the operation. Of course, the pad remains lint-free. This guarantees optimal safety and hygiene.
