Condor MedTec GmbH, formerly known as Condor GmbH Medicaltechnik, was founded by Hermann-Josef Schulte and his wife Maria Schulte.
Expand your possibilities – this is Condor MedTec‘s leading motto, but it‘s more than that. As a family business, we are focused on collaboration and close relationships with our customers and staff.
We bring together practical know-how, a wealth of experience, innovative technology, and “Made in Germany” quality workmanship. Today, we produce on 2,300 square metres in Salzkotten and are constantly growing. For example, the storage and production area of the Condor Groupis currently being increased to around 3,100 square metresthrough the construction of a new hall.
In addition to Condor® MedTec GmbH , Condor® Custom Solutions GmbH & Co. KG also belongs to our group.
The following applies to both companies: Only through the balance between past, present and future can we achieve the best performance that moves you forward – expand your possibilities.

Nevertheless, very high quality standards do not only apply to our own manufacturing and production: Our suppliers’ products, too, are subject to our exceptional quality standards and are audited and certified. Therefore, when they purchase products from Condor, users of our devices can be assured that the products they use are the best products, are high-quality and have been tested. The platform for this quality commitment is our certification under EN ISO 13485:2016 + AC 2012.
Continuous development using technological advancements and new materials is the driving force behind our consistent, high-quality workmanship. Innovative wire-cut EDM technology, 5-axis milling technology, and a 3-D measuring machine (ZEISS CONTURA GA) are some of the components in our production that ensure this high quality standard.
In addition to quality, flexibility is also critical in the manufacturing of our products. It allows us to respond flexibly to special market requirements and specific customer needs and to provide individualized solutions characterized by Condor’s tried and true high-quality workmanship.
Nevertheless, very high quality standards do not only apply to our own manufacturing and production: Our suppliers’ products, too, are subject to our exceptional quality standards and are audited and certified. BUSINESS AWARD GOES TO SALZKOTTEN
The Condor Group is awarded the "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" prize.
The Condor Group were honored by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation 2023. A total of 4,075 companies as well as banks and municipalities were nominated for the competition this year.
The Condor Group had the pleasure of receiving the award for first place in the whole of NRW at the Business Ball at the Maritim Hotel at Düsseldorf Airport. "Starting in a garage, the company celebrated its 25th anniversary last year. The company is active worldwide and is a pioneer in the individual production of retractor systems for medicine. The medium-sized company and the founding and owning Schulte family are also very committed to society," says Dr. Helfried Schmidt, explaining the reason for the award.
The foundation focuses on medium-sized companies. Despite crisis-ridden global economic and macroeconomic developments, the entrepreneurial SME sector has created millions of new and additional jobs in recent years. However, these tremendous achievements are hardly perceived by the public. The aim is therefore to improve the public image of SME entrepreneurs, to raise public awareness of the connection between "healthy SMEs - strong economy - more jobs", to popularize examples of success and to create sustainable networks among SMEs.

"Now more than ever!" - the annual motto 2021
For several years now, our group of companies has been nominated for the "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes", in which we have already reached different levels. From the nomination, to the jury stage, to the first trophy in 2019 with the award as "Finalist". The competition has been held annually since 1994 and is aimed at German medium-sized businesses.
The objectives of the award are to increase respect for entrepreneurial responsibility and to promote self-employment with the motto "Healthy SMEs - Strong Economy - More Jobs". In addition, the focus is on networking in the SME sector and the presentation and popularisation of the successes of committed entrepreneurial personalities.
"The 'Grand Prix of Medium-Sized Businesses' awarded by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation is the most coveted business award in Germany" (DIE WELT). The competition is organized entirely on a voluntary basis, financed exclusively privately and is subject to quality management certified in accordance with DIN ISO 9001:2015. As a company, we are evaluated in our entirety and at the same time in our role within society, and 5 competition criteria are used.
We are looking forward to being part of it again in 2021. The first hurdle has been taken - we are excited to see what happens next.

We, in the Condor Group, are committed to compliance with all applicable health, safety and environmental protection guidelines and standards. We carefully consider the effects our products and our work have on the environment and the health of people. We use air, water and energy resources responsibly and focus on optimized disposal processes. The Salzkotten site, which was built in 2012, was also equipped with an energy-efficient air-source heat pump and a photovoltaic system. In this way, ecologically generated energy can be used directly and excess energy can be fed into the power grid. The construction of the building according to KFW 40 standard was a matter of course for us.
